CoinSpectr - The Problem

CoinSpectr is a web and mobile app concept with the goal of simplicity. It shouldn't be hard to grab quick data without having to spend time researching cryptocurrency prices. Coinspectr makes it quick and painless to track, pull prices, and manage your cryptocurrency. The majority of the target audience of Coinspectr would value privacy and decentralization. Coinspectr is also targeted at those who might not know terminology of cryptocurrencies such as "Hash", "Mining", "Blockchain".

Too many people are interested in the hype of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies but have found it difficult to to invest and understand with the tall learning curve behind cryptocurrencies. Coinspectr's goal is to make it easier for these types of customers to find information and data they are looking for.

Research/Sitemap/Goals

The average cryptocurrency user is bewtween 25-44 years (63%). Of this group over half earn between 50k and 150k years. The majority of our users are tech savy and invested in cryptocurrencies. This person will also have a novice understanding of cryptocurrencies and blockchain tech.

Goals of the design are to make it easy to find information on cryptocurrencies and to track changes in prices. With the goal and research findings kept in mind, 2 products are conceptualized to fulfill the goal (Webapp,Mobile App). The sitemap is structured to make information easily accessible.

The Development Phase

Keeping in mind the research phase of the product the wireframes were developed to ensure flow is smooth and rich in resources. From a visual prospective the layout and typography will be consistent and clean. The visual design must be minimal to keep the user from being distracted so that he/she can focus on the information.
